Aspheric cylindrical lenses are primarily employed in optical designs requiring controlled modification of image dimensions—such as transforming a point-shaped spot into a line-shaped spot, or adjusting image height without altering image width.

Aspheric cylindrical lenses are widely used where precise manipulation of image scale is required—for instance, converting a point spot into a line spot, or varying image height while preserving image width. Typical applications include linear detector illumination, barcode scanning, holographic illumination, optical information processing, computing systems, and laser emission. In high-power laser systems and synchrotron beamlines, these lenses also play critical roles. As system demands grow—especially in high-precision instruments such as high-power laser resonator mirrors and long-baseline line interferometers—the performance requirements for cylindrical lens components continue to rise. Aspheric cylindrical lenses provide one-dimensional magnification capability, making them especially suitable for linear detector illumination, barcode scanning, holographic illumination, optical information processing, computing systems, and laser emission.

Manufacturing Process: Rough grinding → Fine grinding → Polishing → Centering and edge grinding
